ACCES 2026 conference venue announced
The Music In Africa Foundation (MIAF) has announced The Campus in Johannesburg, South Africa, as the official conference venue for the 2026 edition of the Music In Africa Conference for Collaborations, Exchange and Showcases (ACCES), which will take place from 28 to 31 October.
Recognised as one of Africa’s leading music industry trade events, ACCES brings together music professionals from across the continent and beyond for a programme of conferences, networking opportunities and live performances.
The Campus, a venue operated by The Forum, will host the daytime conference programme, including panel discussions, keynote interviews, workshops, presentations, exhibitions, pitch sessions and question-and-answer sessions.
The Forum operates a portfolio of event venues across South Africa and describes The Campus as a purpose-built conferencing and events facility. The venue features a triple-volume foyer, two auditoriums, six conference venues, three boardrooms, four dining and function spaces, two outdoor courtyards, secure underground parking for approximately 250 vehicles, and technology designed to support large-scale conferences and events. It can accommodate up to 700 delegates in conference format, 600 guests for banquets and 2 000 people for cocktail events.
Music In Africa Foundation Executive Director Eddie Hatitye said the choice of venue reflected the continued growth of ACCES and the organisers’ ambition to improve the delegate experience.

The announcement follows updates ahead of ACCES 2026, including the release of the first group of showcase artists and the introduction of a revised, multi-venue showcase festival format that will see live performances staged at several venues across Johannesburg.
Organised annually by the Music In Africa Foundation, ACCES serves as a platform for collaboration, business development and professional exchange within the African and international music industries. The event combines a daytime conference programme with evening showcase performances featuring emerging and established artists from across the continent and the diaspora.
